FAQ
Questions clinics ask.
What is Echo?
Healthcare iMessage. We set up your clinic branded contact card. ekco runs check-ins and reorder texts so patients stay on the treatment plan. Patients reply on the phone they already use.
Is Echo a patient app or portal?
Neither. Patients get texts and reply in the same thread. You approve the playbook once. Echo runs those texts. Staff see replies in the clinic app.
Do patients need to download anything?
No. If they already text, they are set.
What does Echo actually do between visits?
Check-ins so patients stay on the plan, plus reorder nudges when they are running low. Staff see who replied in the clinic app.
Who approves the texts?
Your clinicians or designated staff. Echo drafts from fixed templates. Nothing goes out until someone on your team approves it.
Does Echo diagnose or give medical advice by text?
No. Texts are check-ins and reorder prompts. Clinical decisions stay with your clinicians.
What clinic types is Echo built for?
Clinics where care continues between visits: functional and integrative medicine, weight-loss and GLP-1, rural primary care, and related specialties.
Does Echo replace our EHR?
No. Your chart stays the system of record. Echo adds between-visit iMessage follow-through and reorders next to the workflow you already run.
Is Echo HIPAA compliant?
Ekco Health Ltd. runs a HIPAA security program and signs a Business Associate Agreement before PHI-touching workflows run. Apple does not sign a BAA. See Trust for the published posture.
What does pricing look like?
About $300 per month for the first 100 patients, then roughly $3 to $4 per patient after that. Two weeks free on real patients. See Pricing for clinic-type detail.
What happens on a demo?
A short screen share: sample check-ins, a reorder nudge, and the replies staff see. Book a time on Contact.
